Experiences in the Museum's galleries and studios will help you discover how the study of art can teach literacy. From observation skills to writing poetry inspired by works of art; from making pictures to verbally interpreting pictures in the museum's collection; these activities and more will explore how visual and verbal literacy can be taught together through strong artistic experiences. Educators of all disciplines and grade levels are welcome. No prior experience in art or writing is required. Credit students must complete a curriculum assignment.Supplies
